The practice is based on the belief that my customers’ needs are of the utmost importance. I’m committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is referrals from other building trade professionals and satisfied customers.
From the initial design brief, I can either work from my client’s exacting design/layout requirements or be left with a ‘blank canvas’ to create a design you will be delighted with. Even from this early stage I will be using my practical experience by thinking ahead to ensure the work proposed can practically and sensibly be built, and will comply with the Regulations. Usually an initial draft plan is created for my clients to see before the project is formally drawn up. It is of paramount importance to me to ensure that all my client needs are included within the plan scheme right from the start.
Included as part of the service, I will prepare and submit both Planning and Building Regulation applications, acting as your Agent throughout. Sometimes projects need to involve applications to Anglian Water (building over or near sewers); I can also deal with such an application if needed.
All of my clients receive both paper copies and PDF versions of the drawings which are crucial for tendering purposes and the contractors to construct from. Both Planning and Building Control Permissions are posted (or emailed where sent electronically) to my clients the same day as received. I’m proud of my prompt service I give all my clients both with correspondence and phone conversations relating to their projects.

Usually a pulmonary initial draft drawing is produced for the client to see before the project is formally drawn up. It is of paramount importance to me to ensure that all my client’s needs are included within the drawings, from the start.
Included as part of the service is the submission of the Local Authority Planning and Listed Building (where applicable) applications then usually followed soon afterwards by the Building Regulation application, acting as your Agent throughout. Sometimes projects need to involve applications to other bodies (such as Anglian Water Services where building over or near to a public sewer) and I can deal
with this procedure too for you, should this situation arise.
Furthermore, it is quite common for the services of a structural engineer, or even a thermal engineer, to be required. In both these situations I have a long standing reliable contact whom I engage when needed. All of my clients will receive both paper copies and electronic PDF versions of the drawings and all other paperwork, which will prove beneficial for the client’s appointed contractor.
All correspondence received from Planning and Building Control, I usually email on to my clients the very same day. I am proud of my prompt service and will always strive to avoid unnecessary delays to my clients.
